Payment and Refund Policy for Feeds India

1. Overview
At Feeds India, we provide a digital ecosystem that facilitates trade discovery, lead matching, and order management for the agricultural sector. This Payment and Refund Policy governs all financial transactions conducted on our Platform (www.feedsindia.com) and the Feeds India mobile application.
2. Payment Terms
- For Buyers (Companies): Payments are required for optional value-added services, specifically the "Boost Request" feature, which prioritizes your RFQ within our supplier network.
- For Sellers (Suppliers): Feeds India operates on a professional commission-based model. Sellers are required to maintain a prepaid balance in their "Feeds India Wallet" to pay for platform service charges.
- Third-Party Processing: All financial transactions are processed securely through Razorpay. Feeds India does not store your credit card, debit card, or UPI credentials.
3. Service Charges and Professional Commissions
- Platform Commission: A professional service charge (currently 7%) is applicable to every order accepted by a Seller.
- Nature of Fee: This fee represents our professional charge for facilitating trade discovery, providing a secure bidding environment, and providing the infrastructure for order management.
- Automatic Deduction: The commission is automatically calculated and deducted from the Seller's platform wallet at the moment an order is accepted.
4. Refund Policy (Non-Refundable Services)
Feeds India provides digital discovery and facilitation services that are consumed immediately upon execution. Therefore, the following policies apply:
A. Seller Commissions & Platform Fees
- Non-Refundability: Professional commissions and platform fees collected from the Seller are non-refundable.
- Service Completion: Once a Seller clicks "Accept Order," the platform's service of "trade matching and lead provision" is considered fully rendered. Subsequent cancellations of the physical trade between Buyer and Seller do not entitle the Seller to a refund of the platform fee.
B. Buyer Boost Fees
- Non-Refundability: Fees paid by Buyers to "Boost" or highlight their requests are non-refundable.
- Service Completion: The service is considered rendered the moment the request is broadcasted with priority status to the supplier network.
C. Wallet Balances
- Usage: Funds added to the Feeds India Wallet are intended solely for the payment of platform commissions and service charges.
- Withdrawals: Wallet balances are generally non-refundable and non-withdrawable. Users are advised to top up only the amounts necessary for their immediate trading requirements.
5. Order Cancellations and Disputes
- Platform Role: As Feeds India is a facilitator and not a party to the underlying commodity trade, we do not issue refunds for platform fees based on the failure of the Buyer or Seller to fulfill their physical trade obligations.
- Transaction Failures: If a payment is deducted from your bank account but fails to reflect in your Feeds India Wallet due to a technical communication error, the amount is typically auto-refunded by Razorpay or your bank within 5-7 business days.
6. Technical Error Resolution
If you believe a professional fee was deducted incorrectly due to a system glitch (e.g., a double deduction for a single order):
- Documentation: Capture a screenshot of the transaction and the associated Order ID.
- Notification: Email support@feedsindia.com within 24 hours of the occurrence.
- Audit: Our team will audit the system logs. If a genuine technical error is confirmed, we will credit the disputed amount back to your Feeds India Wallet within 48 hours.
7. Policy Updates
Feeds India reserves the right to modify this Payment and Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
