Washington [US], February 2 (FeedsIndia): Ramin Djawadi, the Emmy-winning composer who is known for composing the ‘Game of Thrones’ score, has been signed on to score HBO’s upcoming ‘House of the Dragon’ prequel series.
The news was first noticed by Los Siete Reinos, according to Entertainment Weekly, and has since been confirmed by HBO.
In addition to being nominated twice for his work on HBO’s ‘Westworld’, Djawadi had earlier bagged two Emmy awards for his work in the seventh and eighth seasons of ‘Game of Thrones’.
It was because of his famous work that HBO later introduced the global tour of the ‘Game of Thrones’ Live Concert Experience back in 2017. Djawadi conducted some songs from the much-loved series at the concert.
As the cast, writers, and producers moved on after the flagship series ended in 2019, Entertainment Weekly announced, Ramin Djawadi is one of the few big names on the Dragon who were also on the previous series.
