[US], February 4 (FeedsIndia): The continuing coronavirus pandemic has put a stop to almost everything, with many music and film festivals bearing the brunt of the health crisis, singer The Weeknd’s ‘After Hours’ World Tour is the latest to be affected by the pandemic.
People magazine announced, the singer The Weeknd has officially re-planned his ‘After Hours’ World Tour.
Originally scheduled to kick off this summer, the tour is now postponed until January 14, 2022, it will begin in Vancouver, Canada.
With dates from Los Angeles to Berlin, the upcoming tour will end in London on November 16, 2022.
The tour, jam-packed with 39 additional concerts, has been moved to next year, to prevent the transmission of the novel corona virus.
Tickets for the tour will be available for purchase at 10 a.m. starting on Monday, on the official website of the singer ‘The Weeknd’.
According to the official announcement, those who have previously bought tickets need not to worry, the tickets will be valid for the rescheduled dates.
The 30-year-old hit-maker will release ‘The Highlights’ album on Friday, which includes some of his most famous fan-favorite songs.
On Sunday, during the NFL championship clash in Tampa Bay, Florida, The Weeknd will present his highly awaited Pepsi Super Bowl LV Halftime Show.
